The taxim is a musical segment performed primarily by a single instrument. It is usual to interpret a taxim with a violin, accordion, flute, saxophone, Kanoun, lute, etc. The musician improvises the taxim, there is a melody to follow or repetitions, where you can express emotions and give free rein to your imagination. Similarly, the oriental dancer interprets the taxim on the fly, with their movements expressing emotion that conveys the musician who plays the melody. Musician and dancer is one instrument, the musician expresses their creativity and feelings through the song, the dancer hears, feels and expresses to visually show these feelings to the public, using their imagination, creativity and sensitivity.
